Refund policy

Airbnb’s Strict policy generally offers a full refund if guests cancel within 48 hours of booking, provided the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in. Otherwise, guests receive a 50% refund if they cancel 7–14 days before, or no refund if canceled within 7 days of the stay.

Key Details of the Strict Cancellation Policy:
- Full Refund Period: 48 hours after booking + at least 14 days before check-in.
- 50% Refund: 7–14 days before check-in.
- No Refund: Less than 7 days before check-in.
- Cleaning Fees: Usually refunded if the cancellation occurs within the 48-hour free cancellation period.
- Long-Term Stays: Different rules apply for stays of 28+ nights.

Important Considerations:
- Major Disruptive Events: The standard policy may be overridden by the Major Disruptive Events Policy.
- Our Considerations: Strict policies are designed for high-demand listings to prevent last-minute losses.
- Guest Protection: Even under strict policies, guests may be able to request a refund through the Resolution Center if there are major issues with the listing, such as significant inaccuracies in the description.
